Lately, I’ve been asking my friends for porn recommendations, and some have even asked me back. I called a friend to see if she wanted to do a nude shoot with me — just us girls (and her dog). She told me she had been dreaming about it for months, but never dared. My mom gave me lace panties and said to only wear them for someone special (wink wink).

I can’t count the times I’ve been called “a sexual girl” by men. Why? I’m just a healthy, normal woman with a sexuality, like anyone else. Growing up, I never had honest sexual education about pleasure or confidence. I wish someone had shown me how to own my body sooner.

This project explores intimacy and female sexuality. I wanted it to be playful and curious, opening a conversation about pleasure, confidence, and the idea that women can be sexy and sexual without needing a label.
